LEGACY: Q And A With Author Robert Maxxim

Legacy-Interview-main-4-post

Q) Why did you choose the title “Legacy”?

RM) Legacy is our past, the inescapable persistent reaping of what we sowed. It is our invisible inheritance that we feel, not always see. It is the memory of tribulations past and learning through the ages. It describes who we were, now are, and what got us to this point. Legacy represents the sealed compliment of countless events lived in long ago past times, inherited memories and emotions from those olden lives influencing the present, and the enslaving consequences emanating from those lives. This is the heart of the Legacy episode series; an outline of our enduring past, and a snapshot of what we have become.

Legacy, a story over 40 years in the making, became the author’s greatest interest and most fervent calling in life, a tale that shadows his innermost emotions in the lives of each character. It also provides critical thinking in scientific, historical, and devotional fields. It is a narrative that evidences his experiences through countless past lifetimes, triumphs and blunders. Most importantly, it is an ode to his endless search through the cosmos for his beloved of ages. Hence, it is an autobiography and a love story, a romance of epic proportions as eternal as time itself and as powerful as the author’s heart.

Legacy is an infinite journey in the search for love, truth, and sincerity as seen through the eyes of one man, the author, in his desperate pursuit to understand himself and find his love of ages. He faces fierce challenges, social opposition, and rude alternatives that detract his every step along the way. That long sought love, he finds, in a woman not of this world, an event leading him to discover in time a vast knowledge chasm between them, one he must close in order for true love to take its course. He is Legacy, she is love. Together, they conquer Legacy and forever live … in love.

Episode-I-The-Search-For-LoveQ) Can you explain how did you come up with a story like this?

RM) During a quiet evening, while studying college science materials, I had few concerns in mind and was focused wholly in my studies. But unexpectedly, I experienced a powerful vision that changed my life forever. This was just one of many such events to follow, extensive visions of other worlds and past civilizations whose details have stirred fans and followers throughout the world to this day. These visions make up the core values found in the Legacy narrative, exemplified by the unshakable tireless love and devotion of my beloved of ages whose grace and flowing essence inspired this lyrical pen.

Legacy is more than a tale of the relentless struggles between good and evil. Rather, it is a story that highlights the life-changing power of love, giving powerful vivid witness to how the author failed and belittled that love, mainly his beloved, through times past. And though thousands of years of abandonment transpired, the story celebrates the fact that his beloved never gave up hope and refused to abandon the intense devotion she held for him. Theirs was a relationship contested by “the system,” a love interrupted for millennia by countless challenges and drama that linger unto their present times; a love that triumphs after such long waiting and countless tribulations. Legacy is medicine for the heart.

Legacy’s plot provides a powerful futuristic romantic narrative based on these visions, complemented by negative overtones that challenge their love in a setting similar to today’s world. Every word, action, and detail in Legacy is tied to visions and information provided by the author’s revelations and contacts, animating the true lifestyles and purpose for living for the first time in history, not only on other worlds but civilizations long past. No other narrative portrays these places and times as accurately as Legacy; it is this disclosure that everyone anticipates, is in high demand, and is highly marketable. These events have been confirmed by many who, by reading Legacy’s pages, suddenly “remember.”

Legacy became a science fiction drama whose circumstances are those of real individuals and worlds as they exist today. Its basic theme begs the reader to consider; what would happen if alien disclosure is made? What if aliens landed on Earth today? What would happen to governments, science, financial and belief systems? Would aliens be welcomed, or betrayed? Is there a rogue alliance keeping the world the way it is and which will reject alien presence? Coupled with catchy phrases and unique behavior, Legacy successfully lets the reader experience several consequences that incite an overwhelming desire to root for the good guys, yet pity the bad, gathering at the edge of their seats inspired by a desire to attain virtue and fight for righteousness aligned with the plot.

The amount of science, intrigue, and stage plot goes far beyond any shown by past epics. A surprise awaits the reader in every chapter. Entertainment in every flip of the page. Dozens of events from times past can easily become a sequel of their own. Space wars are described with a rhythm, plot, and scope beyond any ever shown. The story moves fast, never slow. Its dialogue can be adapted by character action in order to fill in details and adjust time constraints. Adaptation is simple and plot subjects selectable while maintaining the spirit of the story and its sequels intact. The narrative was designed with this in mind.

There is so much detail in Legacy that several movies, series, and sequels can be produced from, to, and around it; not just one. For this and many other reasons, Legacy stands far above all other stories in its class promising a most expansive epic ever assured to be the one to beat for all times.

Episode-II-The-Unholy-MenaceQ) How far along are you, if we talk about the exposure of your book?

RM) All five Legacy episodes are written. The third episode is about to be published. The other two episodes are scheduled to be published by May of 2020. Episodes I and II, now being made available in Spanish and French, are traveling around the world and media exposure is increasing to put the word out about their unique story line. The name Robert Maxxim is gaining mention in every continent and interviews are all too common with each conference. For years, the book has been hosted in several book fairs, libraries, and stores. It has received exposure in media channels as well as positive reviews. Conferences, TV and radio appearances continue to get the word out there in multiple languages. The number of Facebook friendships has increased and so has GoodReads and Amazon customer reviews, all favorable:

Episode-III-The-Forbidden-TreeQ) What is your main goal for your books?

RM) Big screen; what it was designed for. Legacy is a mission to dazzle the world with many unknowns, highlight desirable cosmic subjects and dreams greatly desired, and entertain.

Legacy is first and foremost a story about the author and his many successes and blunders through the ages, a recollection of events we’ve lost over time and must know in order to progress and solve both personal and hence world problems. Legacy is a critical message for mankind about love and what it means to be in love with Love, what true kindness is, what selflessness means, and the fact that we are not alone but rather being expected to join countless cosmic nations … that is, if we learn to behave as they do. Legacy is a message of science that explains what we are and offers incredible technologies in outstanding detail, reasons Harvard and Princeton are actively interested in its contents. Legacy is also a message of the mind exposing how it really works. It is a gift of love and an outstanding entertainment narrative for the ages. This is the mission of Legacy, to spread the word of love to humanity and motivate progress ever forward in the name of truth and sincerity.

Episode-IV-When-Titans-ClashQ) If you compare your book to other books out there who have the same genre like yours, what do you think is the great advantage of your masterful works?

RM) There is absolutely nothing else like it for it is complete, not just for the times but many years in the future. Legacy is a story that will fit many generations to come and can continue to evolve beyond the present five episodes. No other genre provides the same level of detail, integration, resolve, and factual representation. Legacy is no half-story boring or difficult to explain but rather a plot all too close to mankind’s expectations waiting to be visually confirmed and willingly expressed. It is what many would stand up and say, just as Blue Ink stated in a reference, “This story blends space opera, metaphysics, and the theme of immortal love in an ambitious—if not altogether successful—saga across space and time.”

Legacy is an enduring story, not just a short hazy telling; a complete and exciting narrative with an expansive plot to entertain the public and satisfy any adaptation. It is a story so far in advance to anything Hollywood has ever produced that it will endure for years to come; no competition. It will stand the test of time and public interest for it is what viewers desire. It stands as immortal as the love it projects for it is—the future.

Episode-V-New-BeginningsQ) How do you see your works ten years from now?

Q) Anything you can share about your works that can’t be seen by a normal reader but can only be revealed by a vivid fan of your books or the writer?

RM) Legacy motivates the reader to think about the way characters feel, what they contrive, who they might be for real, and what they might be scheming. The reader stays attentive to detail following clues and event threads to decipher character intent. Each episode is packed with intrigue leaving the reader to uncover thrillers in future episodes or events. Some details are provided for easy and quick assimilation. Others are purposely obscured until further information is given. Others are made rather obvious to the reader, but not to the characters in the story line, thus creating an air of tense mystique if not wholly unfathomable entreaty.

Legacy is not codified but unfolds like any event in normal life where some details are not always obvious while others may escape notice altogether. Character identification from one lifetime to another is a key character/theme identifier whereby individuals are recognized by their specific behaviors, phrases, or desires during personage engagement in the story; mainly protagonists and antagonists.

Q) Something special that you can tell to those people who are about to read your book?

RM) Legacy will take the reader where no author has taken them before and will change their lives as it did mine as well as that of others. As reader reviews outline:

“Fascinating story, one where love meets obstacles, challenges and inner strife constantly overcoming errors and successes. A story that is simultaneously galactic and human.” JM, GoodReads

“With prose that incites the reader with each word, the narrative teaches us that love is what moves the universe … simply wonderful, looking forward to reading the next episodes.” EI, GoodReads

“Space adventure complete with mystery, intrigue, and above all a love story that transcends beyond mere human. With a poetic and spiritual prose, its reading does not lead to apathy and invites deep reflection. I recommend it, it’s amazing.” ALG, GoodReads

“A beautiful love story. I was surrounded by the plot and the trajectory of the characters. I actually felt that I had embarked on that trip.” MV, Amazon

“Robert Maxxim offers clean text, a poetic sensibility and compelling descriptions.” Blue Ink

Q) Why should we pursue in getting your book on the big screen?

RM) What the world needs and wants to see, now and in the future, is what Legacy provides. It is a story long awaited offering superior enlightening entertainment, one that will bring fresh new ideas, life, and revolution to the big screen with vivid personally-impacting and engaging themes, bold realistic emotions, advanced technology and breathtaking scenes, unconventional cosmic conflicts, rapid color and heart pumping intrigue, high human values, and a view long expected by humanity of what is out there and in our past, genuine summaries never before seen in one production yet so longed for. So many refreshing wonders and emotions the world has yet to see and experience, the fruition of such long awaited yearnings, plots unequaled even by present sheer imagination; all this and more await in Legacy.

Q) How much do think would it would cost a company to acquire the rights to your works?

RM) Being my first exposure to the movie industry, I am not well versed in this area and will gladly consider the company’s recommendation to make entertainment and filming possible.

Q) Any plans for pursuing other fields aside from the Movie Industry?

RM) Legacy “the movie” will be the ultimate achievement of the Legacy mission. The future of Legacy will be to mirror the movie’s adapted plot and promote both its representation and continued marketing in public and media appearances, also to help support and promote several sequels, series, and trilogies for same long term.
