Training Yourself To Dream About Past Lives
Once you are able to remember your dreams, you are ready to start programming them to tell you about your past lives. Many people are surprised to discover that programming a dream or getting a dream to answer a particular question is a remarkably easy process. It is also a very ancient practice. In her book Creative Dreaming, psychologist and dream researcher Dr. Patricia Garfield notes that techniques for programming dreams to answer specific questions have been found in Egyptian records dating from 3000 B.C. The ancient Assyrians called the practice istiqara, and among the ancient Greeks it was known as “dream incubation.”
Many modern researchers have also developed methods for “incubating” dreams. Although devoid of the mythological jargon that accompanied ancient techniques, the essence of these techniques remain the same. Inducing a dream about one of your past lives (or about any matter on which you desire dream guidance) involves three basic steps. (more…)

Resonance Theory of Consciousness

Could consciousness all come down to the way things vibrate?
Why is my awareness here, while yours is over there? Why is the universe split in two for each of us, into a subject and an infinity of objects? How is each of us our own center of experience, receiving information about the rest of the world out there? Why are some things conscious and others apparently not? Is a rat conscious? A gnat? A bacterium?

Here And Hereafter

The whole process of leaving the earth, of dying, is a perfectly natural one. It is merely the operation of a natural law. But for thousands of years the generality of people have lived in entire ignorance of the truth of ‘dying’ and of the ‘hereafter’. And in this, as in so many cases, ignorance, or, lack of knowledge, means fear. It is fear of the future following upon ‘death’ that has surrounded the act of transition with so many mournful and morbid solemnities and doleful trappings.
Sorrow is but natural in human hearts at the parting of loved ones and in their removal from physical sight, but sorrow is aggravated and increased by the lack of knowledge of what precisely has taken place. Orthodox religion is largely responsible for this state of affairs. The one who is mourned has gone to an unknown land where, presumably, an omnipotent God reigns supreme, ready to mete out judgment to all who enter that world. It behooves us, therefore, orthodoxy would urge in effect, that we should do all that we can to placate this Great Judge, that He may deal mercifully with our departed brother. Such a situation, it would be further urged, is no time for anything but the gravest demeanor, the most solemn behavior. (more…)

acts of everyday life, there are always some very scientific principles involved which make these acts possible and that these various transmissions have, as has been suggested, very far-reaching and infinite effects. They relate not only to the immediate appearance as they are concerned with the individual but in a sense they also can affect, either inversely or adversely, certain dimensional transmissions which may be hundreds of thousands of years in the past or in the future. It is in these common transmissions of everyday life, in the affiliation of frequency relationships and such common abstractions as resolve themselves into the individual’s constructive evolutionary process which he calls life, which have been the determining elements in what he calls sin or evil, and good. Substance is that spiritual power and presence that must come from Its own Source, to supply the individual tapping that point of Spirit. It is conceived by the Law, impregnated by the mind of Christ, brought forth in the Light, and given birth in the individual desire and soul of man. From the infinite source of Substance issues all life, power, force, quality and quantity of supply which creates the expressed idea—expressed in an object, or in a condition. It is back of everything, of any name or nature whatsoever. It comes to consciousness from the Law, and Its supply is great or small according to the individual ideals and desires of one that draws upon It. Some will express negation, others will express harmony and all good.
The ideas of an individual’s consciousness are molded by thought forces according to the pattern radiated by that one’s Light within the Shrine. If one’s Light is clear and bright, the pattern given is good and enduring. If the Light be clouded and diverted, the pattern shown will be poor and miserable. After the pattern is held, consciousness must be prepared for the molding; it is urged on to the mind, where the thought forces begin to shape it into outline, form and color, of the mental plane. Now it comes through desire of an individual soul to the time of birth. And this is the time when the perfect model of the Spirit is apt to become deformed and anything but the thing of beauty and a joy forever. Many a perfect idea loses quality and character, hence its power to give harmony, by premature birth or by abortion. Self-will and impatience and lack of faith produce these two dread conditions. The parent of the idea places more trust in his five senses and in false laws, than he does in the One Law, hence he clouds his Light, and chaos results at birth of his idea. (more…)

The Karma of Mockery

One of the seven cardinal sins of Christian theology is pride. Like many another theological tenet, this one is intellectually interesting but seems remote from the practical, medical problems of human affliction. Yet if we are to accept the testimony of the Cayce readings, the sin of pride can result karmically in very tangible physical suffering—and particularly so when this pride has expressed itself in mockery or scorn. Cruel laughter and disparaging words seem to be the equivalent of a physical act of aggression, and thus set in motion boomerang karma which results in the same physical affliction as that suffered by the person mocked at.
There are seven cases of severe physical disability in the Cayce files in which the affliction is attributed to a cause of this kind. Curiously enough, six of them are traced to the era of the Christian persecutions in Rome; here again we see how groups of souls of one era of history apparently return to earth as contemporaries in another era of history. Solar Cyclic Effects On Human Activity

Solar energy and cosmic radiation have electrical influences over a multitude of human activities 
including human health. Mainstream science has begun to accept these effects, and to investigate the topic in a serious way, but the science itself is by no means ‘new’.
At the December 1926 annual meeting of the American Meteorological Society, Russian Professor Alexander Chizhevsky presented the paper Physical Factors of the Historical Process. The paper examined the cyclical variations in the sunspot number of the Solar Cycle in order to create a mass index of human excitability throughout history. He found that revolutions and periods of intense fighting seemed to occur during Solar Maxima – the period of greatest activity in the 11-year solar cycle of the Sun – while cultural flourishing and social cohesion tended to occur during Solar Minima. Freedom From Dogma

It must be considered that all systems of life, whether they are social, political, governmental, or religious, have that certain element of dogma. This is especially true with religion. For any religion exists only by application
of a very strong dogmatic influence which permeates into every corner of life of the adherent; and all such adherents are thus morally intimidated directly or indirectly, by this dogmatic influence. In this dogma, all religions therefore stipulate to their adherents, complete moral and spiritual subjugation. The hierarchy of the church or temple can, in this subjugation render any such judgments which will make the adherent conduct himself accordingly. This is a form of slavery, perhaps far more abject and subversive than any usually associated physical forms, as this mental subjugation robs the adherent of his integrity, his individuality; it stifles any progressive action, and forfeits his inalienable right to determine good from evil. For even in his daily experiences, the adherent is pressurized into false attitudes and concepts by this dogmatic subjugation. (more…)

The question of karma is obscure to me, as is also the problem of personal rebirth or the transmigration of souls. “With a free and open mind” I listen attentively to the Indian doctrine of rebirth, and look around in the world of my own experience to see whether somewhere and some-how there is some authentic sign pointing toward reincarnation… Until a few years ago I could not discover anything convincing in this respect… Recently, however, I observed in myself a series of dreams which would seem to describe the process of reincarnation. Since this observation is subjective and unique, I prefer only to mention its existence and not to go into it any further. Although it has long been known that dreams are storehouses of information about our past in this life, there is evidence that they frequently contain a good deal of past-life information as well. For example, in 1981 psychic researcher D. Scott Rogo of John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California, placed a notice in several psychic-oriented magazines asking interested readers to send him accounts of reincarnation memories they had experienced that had emerged in any way other than through hypnosis. In his 1985 book The Search for Yesterday, Rogo reported that spontaneous past-life memories which surfaced in dreams constituted the largest group of credible accounts. (more…)
