Removal Of Dark Force Alignments

Removal-Of-Dark-Force-Alignments-main-4-postby William J. Baldwin, Ph.D.

Many of the entities encountered in session with clients will appear to manifest characteristics, behavior and attitudes consistent with the demonic beings. Yet in the decision-tree questioning, they will claim to have a history as an embodied human. This may be an outright lie. Their presentation gives that clue. Another possibility is that a lesser demonic being was attached to a powerful human for an extended period of time. Like the Black slaves in the early decades of United States history who assumed the name of the owner, the entity assumed the identity of the person. It is simply an identification with a living human.

T: “Recall being in your own human body. Describe.”

The account will be typical of a human lifetime.

T: “How old was he when you joined him?”

Taken by surprise, the little demonic being will answer, even if it is a bit confusing.

T: “Where were you before you joined him?”

Again the answer will come. The description will be typical of the dark beings and not consistent with human existence. This will establish the entity as a minor demonic spirit.

Much more likely is the situation of a living human who chose to serve the dark side. Once this choice is made, the demonic beings come to lodge within and take control. When this occurs, the person is in complete bondage to the darkness. After death the spirit remains under the control of the attached dark commander. There is minimal personal volition in activities after the moment of choice.

The agreement is sometimes unspoken; it is just assumed. The unwary human believes he will get what he wants without even asking for it. He sees the invitation as a doorway to personal power. He may believe that inviting the darkness is just a matter of adding fuel to his own fire, that his own energy will increase, that he will become more powerful. He does not consider the possibility of any cost to himself, any price to pay for this power. He does not realize that the coin of the dark realm is the human soul.

The demonic energy distorts the thinking just enough that the man actually believes that what he is doing is just exactly what he wants to be doing. Without some intervention such as this therapy, this behavior would continue unabated.

In many instances the agreement is a conscious act and deliberately sought. The most serious summoning of Satan is for the express purpose of making a formal pact. The pact normally guarantees some Earthly gain, such as personal or political power, wealth, or securing the favors of a desirable woman. The Dark One delights in offering such transient rewards in return for the eternal soul of the bargainer.

The poor fool who enters such a contract agrees to become Satan’s servant, swearing allegiance to Lucifer, and renouncing his fealty to God. There is no time element in this contract. It binds him to dark service in perpetuity. Forever is a long time and beyond the comprehension of the small mind of man.

The notion of the pact with the devil goes back at least to the fifth century A.D. A young man made a pact with the devil in return for obtaining the favors of a pretty young girl. The father of the girl refused and the girl struggled in vain against the temptations of the devil. At last she yielded. In time, the story of the pact was told. With the help of St. Basil, the man repented and the girl was save from his lechery, a fate worse than death.

In the sixth century, another such story was told and Mary the Blessed Mother of God assisted the poor soul in breaking the pact. Thus it seemed that Mother Mary, or a non-judgmental saint, could assist a wretched fool in freeing himself from the clutches of the Evil One. The cult of Mary spread across Europe as a result of these tales (Russell, 1984, pp. 80-81).

When such an attached entity is discovered and it claims to have been embodied as a human, the questioning focuses on the circumstances leading to the encounter and the pact with the dark forces.

T: “Recall being in your body. Are you male or female?”

Many more men than women have been involved in pacts with the devil. The male ego so often needs and actively seeks further power and control over others. The women who were involved were usually the political power, executive or royal head of state in need of more authority. The sorceress, black magician, or witch openly invited the dark forces; it was a partnership from the inception of the practice of the black arts.

T: “What did you want?”

The reply will frequently reveal the motivation of lust, greed, revenge, hunger for power, control over others, and obedience from people. In some cases there is unselfish motivation, a willingness to offer one’s own life to save another.

One adult client reported making a deal with the devil. She was only six at the time. Her mother was hospitalized and the girl was not told anything about her mother’s condition. She was afraid her mother would die. How the contact was made was a mystery; she only knew that she promised her soul in return for her mother’s life. Mother came home from the hospital alive, and the girl kept her promise. She was musically gifted and several big contracts had been offered to her. Always at the last moment she would fail to show up for an appointment to sign the contract or she would become ill or do something to block her own success. She refused to attempt to dislodge the dark interference. She still felt a true obligation to maintain her bargain, even though the six-year-old child she had been could not begin to understand the ramifications of what she had done.

RENUCIATION OF THE DARKNESS

Further questioning will uncover further motivation for the bargain.

T: “What did you do to get it? How did you contact the dark ones?”

This will begin an account of dissatisfaction with life as it was and the longing for more material satisfaction. It will usually include the process of actively calling on the forces of darkness, either by invocation or with the help of a black magician or witch or accepting the invitation of the dark beings who offer fulfillment of the carnal desires and distorted emotional needs.

T: “Did they offer you what you wanted?”

The offer is always grandiose and enormously tempting, with promises of wealth, power, sexual gratification, revenge and any other hidden desire. There is no limit to what the dark side will promise. It is safe to proffer such abundance; they do not keep their agreements. The dark side never fulfills the promises, never honors the pact nor preserves the bargain. The dark ones nullify and invalidate the contract by non-compliance with the particulars of the agreement.

T: “Did they fulfill their part of the bargain? Did they give you what you wanted? Did they give you exactly what they promised?”

The answer is invariably “NO.”

T: “When did they say you would receive your part of the bargain, your reward?”

The promise is always held out for some non-specified time in the future. On this basis alone a person can disavow any further allegiance to the Evil One and withdraw from the contract. A contract is void if one party bargains in bad faith (and the omission of a time factor is bad faith) or if one party fails to fulfill the specified agreements of the contract.

T: “How long will you wait? You’ve been duped like everyone else who bargains with the devil. He is the Father of Lies. He never keeps his bargain. He’s made a fool out of you. He lied to you. He has given you nothing. You work for him for no reward, no recognition. How much longer do you want to work for him for nothing? He despises you and your weakness. He laughs at you.”

Such questioning focuses on the very ego needs which first led the person to seek the help of the dark forces. The deluded earthbound spirit will usually understand at this point. He will welcome any assistance.

T: “Would you like to break that false contract? Are you willing to renounce the dark forces and pronounce your separation from the pact?

The answer is almost always affirmative.

T: “Listen to the words of the Renunciation of the Darkness as I say them. Make them your own. Change them if you want to, but the meaning must remain the same. Speak the renunciation in your own words, from your own center. Your word is law in your universe. These are the words of Renunciation of the Darkness.”

The meaning and certainty of the words of the renunciation must not be changed. A client may voice pleading thoughts such as:

“I don’t like you darkness, and I want you to leave.”
“You can’t bother me anymore.”
“Go away and leave me alone.”

There is no power, no establishment of boundary, no pronouncement of dominion, no certainty of command in these phrases. The therapist gently guides the client in stating the pronouncement “I rebuke…, I revoke…” These words are clear, even to the dark ones.

The therapist must be sensitive to the religious views of the client. For those who do not object to the name of the Christ, the Holy Name is used. For those who do object, the term “Light” is substituted.

T: “In the name of the Light, I rebuke you, darkness.”

The client repeats the sentence, though it is the entity making the pronouncement.

T: “I renounce all activities of the darkness.”

The client repeats.

T: “I revoke all contracts, agreements and initiations with the darkness.”

The client repeats.

T: “Throughout eternity for as long as my soul exists.”

The client repeats.

T: “In the name of the Light, it is so.”

The client repeats. The therapist waits for 10 to 20 seconds.

T: “How does that feel?”

There is usually a deep feeling of relief, both for the entity and for the client. The dark ones can be released from this confused and misguided earthbound spirit at the same time.

The same pronouncement can be used with any client who recalls a lifetime when they interacted with the dark forces in any way, whether they were involved in sorcery, black magic, witchcraft, dark brotherhood and priesthood, or Satanic of any kind.

Many clients who show signs of demonic interference can be cleared of the dark ones. In subsequent sessions, dark attachments may again be discovered, as if the door has been left open. The dark ones will claim ownership or partnership with the person by right of his agreement. Demonic spirits do not understand reincarnation; they just know the pact was made, and for them this is the open door.

Past-life regression to the experience of involvement with the darkness will allow the person to discover and take responsibility for his actions and behavior. He can then, in full awareness, sever the connection and speak the words of the renunciation of the darkness.

There is one Power in the universe. It is the Power of the Light. It is the power of love, healing, and spiritual evolution. The power of the Light can be distorted and misused by anyone with such miscreant intention to damage or destroy others. This abuse is a violation of the free will of the victim, the person who is the object of the distorted force. It also violates the basic nature of the perpetrator; to misuse the Power of the Light is to incur severe karmic debt.

At the core of every created being is a spark of Light, a spark of the God consciousness. Denial and defiance of this spiritual heritage is a denial and defiance of God. At the innermost core, each being knows the truth of its identity. This cannot be denied. It is the way home.

TEMPTED BY THE DARK FORCES

Ryan was a willing participant in the process of therapy. At 38, he was becoming painfully aware of the turmoil within himself, the relationship with his wife, who was several years his senior and their family situation. They were in therapy as a family. This was a personal session for him. In a fit of violent anger he had put a fist through two doors and a wall.

As he described the painful situation of his life, he had a growing awareness of physical sensation and the mounting emotion behind it.

C: “Wait, something’s wrong, something’s wrong.”

There were things in Ryan’s life which just did not seem to be right, fair, or just. As he repeated the phrase, his stomach began to tighten. He suddenly found himself in a past life, holding a dagger against his abdomen about to commit seppuku. It was the code of bushido, the honorable way to take his own life, and yet something was wrong. As he plunged the dagger into his gut he sensed a vague and momentary awareness of the wrongness of this code which had led him to this act. In the next moment the attending second slashed downward with the sword in the prescribed and accepted manner of bushido and his head went rolling away.

As a spirit, Ryan surveyed the scene and he once again felt the fierce loyalty of the bushido code of honor. It was everything. It was more than sufficient reason to live and die.

As he moved back to explore the life, the details began to emerge. His father had been Shogun before being assassinated. His wife had been killed by the rival faction and a new Shogun had come to power. As son of the former Shogun he also was required to die and was given the choice to commit seppuku, or ritual suicide, in keeping with the code of bushido.

The second time through the death scene, he had a different sense of the meaning of his life. Suddenly, bushido seemed nonsensical, ridiculously structured, somehow comical, yet enormously tragic. He realized that he had loved his wife and family and that indeed love was, in truth, the only important element of life. A major realization, but just a little late for this samurai.

Again moving back into that lifetime, he discovered that his wife was part of the rival family. He and she had grown to love each other, yet she was still a part of the betrayal. Her family could not trust her any longer and had ordered her death. He died feeling rage at the betrayal—rage and hatred and the desire for revenge. This set the stage for the ensuing events.

He described the scene of his death without much emotion. He sensed two shadowy figures moving about in the distance. They came closer and he saw their forms more distinctly; each the size of a man, yet amorphous and dark, they were spirit, not physical. They addressed his rage and offered him the chance for revenge. They offered him reembodiment, not in the form of reincarnation, but by possessing the body of the new Shogun’s counselor. The counselor was trusted and had constant access to the Shogun. This would afford the opportunity for revenge, which the young man desired. In return they requested his soul, of which he had little knowledge or need. He instantly accepted the offer. This was the pact with the devil, his descent into dark bondage by choice and by the power of his own word.

It was two weeks before the conditions were right for the counselor to be open and vulnerable to possession. There seemed to be a moment of fear or confusion. The spirit of the young man just went in and took over. He adjusted quickly to the situation, and perceived that the counselor and Shogun were walking and talking quietly in a garden setting. At first Ryan thought they were alone and it would be a simple matter of drawing his sword and killing the Shogun. With his hand on the sword he suddenly became aware of the retinue of samurai guards following them. As he drew the sword with the intention of dealing a death blow to the hated Shogun, the samurai reacted swiftly, and the counselor, in Ryan’s words looked like sliced salami.

Here are the classic elements of demonic infiltration. Ryan’s hatred, rage, and desire for revenge acted like a magnet for the dark ones. They offered life—which is a deception, as it is not theirs to give in any form. The divine spark of life within all beings is a spark of the God Source, the only Source. They cannot arrange or offer reincarnation options, as that lies only within the province of the Light. The offer of possessing another is doubly intrusive: it is a violation of the free will of the host, and also a deviation from the spiritual path and a karmic burden for the possessing spirit. Blinded by his rage, the newly deceased spirit of the samurai accepted the offer and mindlessly gave his soul in return. Even then, the revenge was not achieved. His foul desire was not fulfilled.

The contract is never honored. The dark ones never deliver what is promised. Herein lies the key to terminating the contract. The child of Light, the human being, operates with perfect integrity and will continue to fulfill the promise to the darkness, whatever the nature of the promise. Because the dark ones never fulfill their part of the bargain, the contract becomes null and void and the lost soul, the earthbound spirit who made that bargain with the “devil,” is free.

Ryan perceived this concept fully in the altered state, and was willing to reclaim dominion and his freedom. He made the words his own as he repeated the therapist’s phrases:

“In the name of the Light, I rebuke you, darkness.”

“I renounce all activities of the darkness.”

“I revoke all contracts, agreements and initiations with the darkness, or with any being of darkness.”

“For now and throughout all eternity.”

“For as long as my soul exists. I am free. For so it is. AMEN.”
