The Wheel Of Life

Just as water in its long journey
to return to its birthplace,
The sea turns the millstones
which grind the farmer’s grist.

So does man’s spirit in its longing
to return to its place of birth
Turns the wheel of life and its grist,
all of the things of each man’s life.
